Seattle's soils are located in depressions on glacial till plains. They form around organic materials. The type of soils that grace the land include; Buckley, Alderwood, and Everett. All the soils are poorly kept. They are primary drained and used for pastures in croplands, growing Corn silage and many other truck crops. and interesting note that all these pastures our mostly located outside of the actual city of Seattle.
